HIGH TECH, LOW LIFE working title (In Production) Director, Cinematographer Inspired by a search for truth and the potential for fame, a quirky former vegetable seller turned renegade blogger from Hunan Province challenges the boundaries of free speech by reporting on under-reported news stories in China. Filmed on location in China, Germany and Hong Kong, HIGH TECH, LOW LIFE follows the journey of one of China's first citizen reporters and his contributions to a new era of civic discourse in a rapidly changing China.
